This week, remedy Snowpiercer, abortion Sex Tape and The Purge: Anarchy all arrive on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Best of the Bunch: Snowpiercer stars Chris Evans (Captain America) and Oscar winners Octavia Spencer and Tilda Swinton. Unfortunately, it didn’t get the release it deserved (At a 95% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s one of the highest rated summer movies of the year) so it’s a must-see on Blu-Ray or DVD. The film, which predominantly takes place on one train, focuses on one man (Evans), who is attempting a revolution against the despotic leaders of the train. Grade: B+

Sex Tape stars Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel and focuses on a married couple who, in an attempt to reboot their marriage, film a sex tape. It doesn’t work as well as it could have but it earned enough laughs from me to get a tepid endorsement. Here’s my full review. Grade: B-

The Purge: Anarchy stars Frank Grillo and Zach Gilford and serves as a sequel to 2013’s surprise hit The Purge. The sequel focuses on a new group of characters who are caught in tough situations when the purge– the annual evening where most crime is legal– begins. Sadly, the film isn’t as smart as the original and often settles for generic horror cliches. Here’s my full review. Grade: C+
