John’s Monday Tip of the Week: Happy Anniversary!

Good evening everyone,

It’s officially been a year since the original John’s Monday Tip of the Week went out. On June 8th, 2015, I sent you all the first e-mail about show pages and since then, we’ve had the chance to talk about a variety of great topics and discussions– many of which are still very relevant today!

That brings us to John’s Monday Tip of the Week.

We’re now at the start of the second year of John’s Monday Tip of the Week so I wanted to create an archive of all of the past tips. The goal is to eventually move all of these tips onto Salem.cc but in the meantime, I’ve created an archive of the past tips and posted it on my site.

You can check out the archive here: http://www.johnhanlonreviews.com/mondays/

Some of these tips were focused on specific events so they may not be relevant anymore (such as the tips about the primary debate coverage.)

However, there are a lot of these tips– about show pages, EEO reports, ad spots, newsletter sign-ups and more– that are still extremely relevant.

With that in mind, I was thinking that this archive page could be a great resource to new employees who want to learn about some of these topics. If you hire someone new at your station or want a refresher on a past topic, you can just go to this archive page and look it up.

I should note a few things about this archive page though. For some of the pages, I haven’t finished uploading all of the images that go with these tips so if you read a tip and want the image that goes with it, let me know. Otherwise, I should be able to upload these relevant images in the next day or so.

I know a lot of you have enjoyed the tips so I’m excited about the second year of this! If you have any topics you think should be the subject of a tip or if you’ve used information from a tip at your station, please let me know! We definitely want to keep this going!

In the meantime, happy anniversary!

This has been John’s Monday Tip of the Week.

Have an awesome week, y’all!
