John’s Monday Tip of the Week: Salem’s Super Bowl

Good evening, cialis 40mg

In less than 48 hours, about it we’re going to have our Super Bowl and the Patriots–my hometown team (aka the best team EVER!)– aren’t in the running.

This Super Bowl is going to be Salem going full speed ahead with the GOP debate. A recent Huffington Post article noted that our company is approaching the debate like it’s our Super Bowl (see here: http://tinyurl.com/ouc8pc2), which leads us to John’s Monday Tip of the Week.

The tip of the week is a simple one: we want all hands on deck.

I know a lot of you all will be hosting debate watches and parties on Wednesday, which is awesome! We definitely want listeners out supporting our stations and watching the debates.

However, we want to have a definitive and all-hands-on-deck approach to the websites that day. Our team is currently working on a strategy for a Twitter feed to be featured on the Newstalk sites (more details to come) for the debate.

Your stations, however, should be promoting themselves as much as possible that day (and especially during the debate). Even if you are hosting a party that night, it would be great if there was an employee manning your Newstalk twitter account that night and posting details and quotes about the debate.

People are going to be looking at Salem sites that night and checking us out so we want them to see us at the top of our game.

If you’re hosting a debate party, please take photos of the party and post them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as soon as possible. If you’re not hosting a big event, you should be tweeting and posting news about the debate on Facebook. Make sure all of your listeners know that they can listen to the debate on our stations!

If you’re hosting an event, please make sure to e-mail me the photos from your events the day after the event! I really want to be able to show our bosses all of the great work you all are doing!

I’ll be around all day and through the evening on Wednesday so if anything comes up, please let me know asap. We want everything to go as smoothly as possible.

It’s a big day for all of us and for our company as a whole and to use the Super Bowl metaphor, we want to score some great touchdowns that day so keep me posted on what I can do to help and make sure you’re taking advantage of every tool possible to promote your stations on Super Bowl Wednesday.

This has been John’s Monday Tip of the Week.

Best,

John
