John’s Monday Tip of the Week: Getting the year started right

Good evening, viagra sale

Happy New Year to all of you.

To get the year started right, I wanted to share some exciting news with you. Last year, Salem Media Group was named one of the “Best and Brightest Companies to Work ForĀ®” by the “National Association for Business Resources” (you can check out the article here: http://tinyurl.com/h32kohz

That’s an amazing recognition and that leads us to John’s Monday Tip of the Week.

One thing I’ve been thinking about recently is building off of our successes from 2015. I know a lot of our stations have goals to meet (whether they be page views, monetary incomes or Fan Club sign-ups) so I was trying to figure out what we could do better in 2016 to achieve those goals.

The first idea that came to my mind is Triton and using all of the advantages that that company offers. I know we keep newsletter subscribers in Triton and we send out our newsletters from there BUT that platform offers so much more than that.

In the months that I’ve worked with Triton, I’ve seen how many tools they offer. From the contests that Triton hosts to the March Madness bracket competition we took advantage of, to the poll capabilities they offer (I’m researching that topic more this week), there are a lot of tools in Triton we’ve used but we want to take further advantage of other tools in their disposal.

With that in mind, my tip of the week is to spend some time each week researching some of the tools that Triton offers.

Vanessa Leavitt has been a great resource for many of us so this tip applies to me as well. In the coming weeks, I’ve made it a personal goal to learn more about the tools that Triton offers that we can take advantage of. In fact, I’m on a call with Triton tomorrow and I’m planning to ask “what is the most underutilized tool that we’re not taking advantage of?” I think that’s a question we should all be asking them on a regular basis.

There might be promotions and contests and concepts that we don’t know about so I think we should all make it our mission to keep up-to-date on all that Triton offers. Maybe a weekly e-mail to Vanessa (asking ‘hey, anything exciting that we should learn about this week’?) would help make sure that you know the latest Triton is offering that could help us.

I know we spend a bit of money to work with Triton so I think we should make the most of it every day and get 2016 off to an amazing start.

This has been John’s Monday Tip of the Week.

Best,

John
